MAS ticket from KL to Melbourne for only RM 1300 ?

This morning my mum sms me asking me if i have paid for my air tix. She told me that air tix from kl to melbourne is only RM 1300. She suggested that I can buy one way tix from mel to kl then buy the other way from kl. The moment i got the sms, i went to mas homepage to check out the great deal. Dissapointed to know that the special deal is unapplicable to me. The fare rate is only available for people who departs on the 12 - 16 Nov. This means that if you would like to grab hold of that offer, you need to fly from kl to mel by next week. The moment i see the offer date, i told my mum, what da. What kinda offer is this that expect people to fly by next week ?
