Decision
June 21st, 2006 | by winsonlee |After finishing higher diploma, i was deciding if i should go UK or Aust to further my education.
ranking for the uni that twin with my coll isnt that good.
so I decided to choose monash intead.
After making that decision, i need to decide on the course that i suppose to take.
The degree that twin with my coll is bachelor in Computing.
If i go for bachelor of computing, i suppose to finish my course in one year time.
Ended up I make my decision to go for Bachelor of Computer Science which took me two years intead of one year.
During then i was thinking that a degree is something that will be with me for the rest of my life.
I would want a more well known degree. That is the reason i choose computer science instead of computing.
Ended up I spend two years in aust.
Then after i my graduation, i was deciding if i should apply for PR or i should just go home and find a job.
My dad actually ask me if i wanted to stay, he will help me to archieve it.
Without his help and encouragement i definately wont be determine enough to stay.
I still remember those days when i chatted with joyce before we came over to further our studies.
During then she has already decided to stay for PR and i was so against the idea of getting PR.
I always think that if there are opportunity in aus, there will be in malaysia as well.
And i thought that after getting PR, the only option is to settle down here.
That is what people usually do.
After studying here for a while then only i realise that getting pr able to provides me another option on the place i can work.
Working in malaysia is not a problem at all.
Going to sing to work wont hav much problem as well.
I told my self if i miss this opportunity to apply for PR, it will be hard to get second chance to apply for one in the future.
Thats why i decided to get PR so that i have the option to work here as well.
In a way i am glad that i did not go UK to further my studies.
Coz applying for PR in uk is nearly impossible. Applying for working permit is equally hard as well.
If i study there, after graduation, I will be required to go back malaysia to work as well.
